Are you a skilled and motivated individual with a passion for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of educational facilities? St. Lawrence College is seeking two dedicated Maintenance Team Members to join our dynamic team in upholding the highest standards of campus maintenance and support.

To be successful in this role you will be able to work independently to a high standard, taking pride in the quality of work is essential. Experience in fault finding, general plumbing, carpentry and decorating skills are essential as well as working safely and methodically.

Responsibilities:
• Perform routine inspections of facilities, identifying and addressing any maintenance issues promptly.
• Conduct preventive maintenance tasks to ensure equipment and machinery are in optimal working condition.
• Respond to maintenance requests and work orders in a timely and efficient manner.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and plumbing problems, implementing effective solutions.
• Collaborate with other team members to plan and execute larger maintenance projects.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs and replacements.
• Monitor inventory of maintenance supplies and communicate restocking needs to the supervisor.
• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines, ensuring a secure and hazard-free work environment.
• Participate in training and development programs to stay updated on industry best practices.

The requirements of this role will necessitate occasional evening and weekend work; this will include providing cover for the Caretaker role as necessary.
