Premier Work Support are looking for a qualified permanent Electrician with suitable technical experience in a wide range of areas on behalf of our client.
Duties include:
* Reactive and planned electrical maintenance within the M25 area and mainly London postcodes. You must have suitable experience and knowledge of these areas and be used to working from more than one site per day, driving from site to site to attend planned maintenance that has been scheduled and/ or reactive works.
* Carrying out 5 yearly inspection and tests and submitting the results on provided software via tablet/ PC for Qualifying Supervisor review.
* Carrying out various electrical maintenance works following testing and inspections, planned and reactive visits as required.
* Obtain and prepare estimate/ quotation information for works where necessary.
* Works to be mainly focused on communal areas of residential buildings, and residential dwellings - both occupied and void.
* Attending sites as a lone worker and / or with apprentice if deemed appropriate.
Requirements:
* Full Driving Licence
* Inspection & Testing 2391 (2394/2395 equivalent) (desirable)
* 18th Edition Wiring Regs certificate
* ECS Card (desirable)
* Excellent communication and behavioural skills. You will be required to liaise with end users, building managers, tenants, office staff and clients where appropriate.
* A desire to learn and take constructive feedback following post inspection of works from our Qualified Supervisors.
* Excellent time-keeping and communication with staff on a daily basis. Keep to scheduled appointments.
* An eagerness to be of value to the company, and to be part of a team.
* A natural ability to embrace technology - must be comfortable using mobile devices such as iPad, in order to carry out their day-to-day duties, namely job ticket management, quotations, and online communication channels, such as corporate chat software and email.
Hours of work:
* 40 hours a week, 8am - 4pm although this is very flexible as this depends on number of jobs completed for the day.
