We have a great opportunity for someone who has previous experience of working in a skilled production role, to join an established manufacturing company.
Job Role:
* You will ensure the efficient production of all orders with a high quality of finished goods;
* Ensuring orders are dispatched in-line with delivery dates;
* Ensure distributor's stock orders are dispatched quickly and efficiently;
* Update on the progress of orders and any problems that may occur;
* Ensuring stock checks are held regularly.
Person Specification:
The person appointed must be dependable, a fast learner and have good attention to detail to ensure quality standards are upheld. Must be physically fit as a certain amount of lifting is involved and the work is standing.
This is a temporary role that requires an immediate start and will offer 40 hours a week; Monday to Thursday 8-5 and Friday 8-2. Although temporary initially, the role could become a permanent contract for the right person.
You will be required to undertake a numeracy test at interview and ideally you will be familiar working with measurements and possess a basic understanding of angles in order to manufacture products to specific shapes and sizes. Training will be provided.
