We have a vacancy for a competent CNC Setter Operator preferably experienced in Mazak CNC's and controls as well as CAD cam software (multiple CNC) to use the machinery safely and accurately to perform a variety of functions. You will be expected to safely produce parts for the extensive range of products in a variety of materials to a broad range of tolerances, both individual 'one off' to batch quantities.

You should be able to work with good concentration and precision and be responsible and comply with all safety guidelines. A keen eye for detail and great mechanical aptitude are a must.

Responsibilities & Duties include (subject to experience)

* May be required to create programs
* Preparing and operating CNC machines.
* Inspect and measure finished products, compare them with requirements to determine consistency and accuracy.
* Check and maintain machinery to ensure functionality

Qualifications & Skills:

* Proven experience as CNC Miller
* Skill in operating CNC machinery and tooling as well as precision measurement tools
* Ability to read and interpret drawings
* Mechanical aptitude and good math skills
* A keen eye for detail and results-driven approach
* Good communication abilities

This role is available immediately and will commence on a temporary provision initially but there are permanent prospects for skilled candidates.

The role requires you to work an early and late shift pattern between 6am-10pm Monday to Friday and any overtime that is worked is paid at a premium.
