Senior Quantity Surveyor - Civils contractor in the Sussex area

A Leading Sussex based civils contractor working across the area on projects of all types and sizes including water; marine; infrastructure; regeneration; coastal; environment Agency; tidal defence etc. With multiple successful division's, a strong orderbook and equally strong profits the business is going from strength to strength with the backing of a world wide company. Due to several recent project awards along with new phases opening on major projects a need has arisen for a permanent Senior Quantity Surveyor to join the new build water sector of the business on a flagship scheme in the area. Working on a large multiphase civils scheme programmed for the next 8 years minimum the role will be working alongside an experienced staff base to deliver the project which is expected to start on site in the early 2023. The company work on innovative and iconic projects in Sussex and surrounds.

Your new role
You will be working closely with a team of quantity Surveyors and reporting into an experienced Managing QS. You will be heavily involved in sub contract management, cost control, and reporting. You will have an excellent understanding of the water sector and be comfortable with reporting and the high standards expected.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be a Senior QS or strong assistant with a civils background, ideally with water sector experience. You will be comfortable working on a fast paced professional site and be driven to progress in the business. You will have experience of all phases of civils Quantity Surveying and will ideally hold a valid academic qualification. However, a civils QS working background will also be suitable
