The Operations Manager role will suit someone who is an agile thinker, proactive, organised and resourceful. Our client will look at either an experienced office / operations manager or someone with relevant core skills who is looking to develop and grow into the role.
Operations Manager / Office Manager
Overview:
To support the Managing Director in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the day-to day operations of the company. The variety of duties will be diverse and adjust as business priorities change.
Example of duties:
* Arrange and co-ordinate Executive Committee meetings (take minutes)
* Assist the Company Secretary with legal administration / insurances
* Oversee the implementation of new processes and procedures
* Create various reports and presentations
* To oversee the arrangement of client events
* Liaison with office landlord's and deal with office facility matters
* Ensure effective communications - internally and externally
* Work with IT providers to ensure systems are fit for purpose
* Represent the company on external working groups
* Assist with business continuity planning and H&S
* Assist with HR matters
Essential skills:
* Previous experience as a PA / Office Manager / Operations Manager
* Exposure to some of the duties and responsibilities listed above
* Proactive, inquisitive, resourceful
* Ability to manage multiple tasks
* Use own initiative to prioritise tasks
* Confident with IT - MS office, Excel, Powerpoint
* Good communications skills and a collaborative approach to working
What you need to know:
* Permanent role
* Hybrid Working flexibility - City of London & Home
* Salary between £35,000 and £55,000 (depending on level and depth of experience)
* A really exciting opportunity within a dynamic and growing business. This is a new position within the business, so you will have the scope to develop the role and become a key team member.
