An opportunity to expand and develop your career within an independent, Lloyd's broking house based in the heart of the City of London. Working directly with the Brokers you will be responsible for all pre and post placement technical functions across US and international lines of business.



You will be a key member of a small technical support team and will focus on progressing the placement of US and International property and casualty and professional lines across open market, binder and lineslip channels.



Main Duties:

* Drafting MRC slips and endorsements for market presentation
* Create Evidence of Cover and invoices
* Produce quote sheets
* Complete sanctions checks
* Load documents onto the IMR
* Monitor premium and settlement due dates
* Producing profit commission calculations
* Review and amend monthly bordereaux received from TP coverholders
* Prepare bordereaux for in-house covers
* Ensure all activity is accurately recorded on broker management system (RiskPro)



Essential Skills Required:

* At least 2 years experience in a Lloyd's market technical support role
* Fully conversant with the platforms, processes and procedures required for placement of risks into the Syndicate & Company markets.
* Strong collaboration and team working skills
* Be resourceful and pro-active
* Good organisational skills and be an agile problem-solver



Desirable:

* Exposure to US and European business
* Familair with open market and binder business
* Experience in property and casualty classes
* Use of RiskPro



What you need to know:

* Permanent role
* HYBRID WORKING - 3 days in London office with 2 days working from home.
* Salary between £35,000 and £55,000 + benefits package
