Our client is a specialist Manufacturer of Precision Sand Cast Aluminium and Steel castings for the Motor and Engineering Industries and require a Fettler/ Labourer working 40 hours a week.

We would also be interested in speaking with candidates looking for an apprentice role in a metal casting manufacturing and finishing.  Ideally you will have an interest/qualification in Engineering.

•             Moulding and casting of metal   -  Fabrication  -  Finishing and assembly of metal products  - Heavy/Manual handling

•             We are looking for candidates who have experience in fabrication and engineering.   Also those who have worked in a garage environment.

•             You need to be comfortable working with angle grinders, electrical and aIr operated tools and working with metal.

•             The position involves deburring and removing excess material from castings using electric cutting and deburring tools and abrasive machinery.

•             The ideal applicant should have experience of using hand-held cutting and grinding machinery.  Precise attention to detail is also a requirement of the role. 

•             Experience of working in a physically demanding heavy industrial environment would be an advantage.
