Venrec are pleased to be recruiting for a Night Transport Operator to join our clients business based in Sittingbourne, Kent. Our client specialises in chilled distribution nationwide. You will be joining a well established team who provide a leading delivery service for many well known distributors of fresh products
For the right candidate this position has the possibility of being made permanent after a minimum of 12 weeks
The role entails:
Managing drivers and fleet throughout the night, ensuring that a first class delivery profile is achieved at all times
The successful candidate will have the following skills and experience:
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
- Being reliable and having a "can do" attitude is essential
- Being able to work well as part of a team
- Full training will be provided
Other details:
- Initially the shifts will be 19:00 - 07:00 Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights
- £22,000 salary
- Paid overtime available
- Holiday pay is accrued in addition at 12.07% on top of your gross pay
