Exact Financial Systems Limited are a long-standing cloud hosting and software development company, catering mainly for the Investment banking financial sector, their offices are based in Dover, Kent.

Exact require an enthusiastic IT Networks & Support Technician to work within the IT team in a permanent role. This is a hands-on, Dover office-based IT Support role with some limited hybrid (work from home) availability. Occasional data center visits may be required as part of the role, you must be able to work independently or as part of a team.

The role will require a dedication to resolving support issues ranging from staff desktop support, to supporting multiple comprehensive data centre virtual server environments, including backups and infrastructure.


Salary circa £25k to £36k dependent on experience.
The role is full time plus discretionary performance related bonus, private healthcare and free life insurance plus pension.


Required Skills and Experience:

• Previously worked in an IT Support role (min 2 years full time)
• Firewall management
• Networking Infrastructure Support
• Active Directory
• Office 365 suite support (Email, Teams etc)
• Server Virtualization
• Backups and Network Storage Management
• Windows builds & support Win10/2012/2016/2019

Advantageous if you have skills and experience in some of the following:
• Watchguard Firewall Management
• Server MS Hyper-V Virtualisation Support
• IT Security Awareness or Certification
• Database Management (Especially Intersystems Cache & SQL / My SQL)
• Cloud applications
• VOIP System support
• Technical Documentation
• VPN support and management
• IT Network monitoring and alert systems
• Working within an SLA / Call logging
• Web server configuration (Apache or IIS)
• Full UK Driving License
• Azure knowledge or experience
