Internal Account Manager

Maidstone - must drive with own transport due to location

£25k Basic (£28-£30k OTE)



My client based in Maidstone is looking to recruit an Internal Account Manager to join them at an exciting time of expansion!



This role would suit someone who is passionate about developing a career in b2b sales and enjoys being rewarded for the effort they put in. Ideal for a second jobber looking for a genuine company with a great culture and buzzy team environment to work in a strategic sales role.



Duties include:

* Create and maintain relationships with new, dormant and low spending clients to ensure you exceed the monthly sales targets
* Ensuring you have relevant knowledge when having conversations or meetings with potential clients
* Draft and deliver proposals
* Report on daily sales activity and various KPIs
* Liaising with various other departments and teams to proactively answer queries or address any problems
* Qualifying potential customers using calls, emails and social media tools to establish relationships
* Finding, unlocking and converting new sales opportunities



The right candidate will have/ be:

* A strong understanding of sales principles
* The ability to deliver excellent customer service and providing a positive customer experience
* Able to spot and convert sales opportunities
* Strong communication skills with the ability to build positive customer relationships
* Previous work experience as internal or junior account manager or within a relevant sales position
* Proactive and efficient when working by yourself and within a team
* Well presented and a professional attitude
* A clean, full driving license with your own transport (due to location of the offices, this is necessary)
