Telecommunications & Control Systems (TCS) Technician
Salary circa £30 - £35k dependant on experience, plus shift pay and attractive benefits package.

motivated colleagues. Eurotunnel manages, maintains, and operates the Channel Tunnel Fixed Link Concession between Folkestone and Coquelles, France.

Opened on 6 May 1994, the Fixed Link is a rolling motorway which transports passenger and commercial freight vehicles on board Shuttles across the Channel at 140kph, in 35 minutes. It also allows the running of third-party passenger and rail freight trains.

We are now seeking a highly motivated and experienced Technician to join our Telecommunications & Control Systems (TCS) department.

We are looking for someone who can demonstrate their vast experience within our team of skilled technicians, undertaking preventative and corrective maintenance on all TCS
equipment in accordance with diagnostic procedures.

You will ideally be qualified to ONC/HND/NVQ level or equivalent in a telecommunication or electronic discipline and be able to demonstrate experience in a telecommunications or electronics environment.

A BTEC/NVQ Level 3 or post apprenticeship may be considered with 2 years’ experience in a technical environment.

You must be prepared to work unsocial hours and willing to participate in a shift working roster, which includes nights and weekends. This enables the department to keep a 24 hour presence on site.

Participation in an n-call rota is a requirement for this role. Additional premiums are payable for unsocial and on call hours
worked.
