IT Support Engineer
Senior Service Desk Analyst / Desktop Support Engineer / Systems Administrator / IT Support Engineer - £27,000 - Hastings.
My client, a global medical support provider, are looking for someone who is interested in work as a Senior Service Desk Analyst / Desktop Support Engineer / Systems Administrator / IT Support Engineer to join their large but expanding team.
In this role as an IT Support Engineer there will be a focus on the ownership, management, resolution and escalation of support calls that come into the Service Desk. Onsite training will be given to ensure you are able to expand your knowledge to include the provision of IT systems, maintenance, and monitoring.
Skills Required:
* Experience in a similar role previously.
* Diagnosis and troubleshooting skills.
* Technical knowledge of network and PC operating systems.
* Technical knowledge of current network hardware, protocols, and standards.
* Understanding of standard desktop concepts and imaging technologies.
* Basic understanding of MS Windows domain concepts.
* Be proficient with Microsoft office applications.
* Any additional Windows Domain and networking experience will be an advantage.
* Good understanding and experience of Microsoft system centre configuration manager (SCCM) would be an advantage.
Your Knowledge and Experience:
* Excellent written and oral communication skills.
* Excellent interpersonal skills.
* Ability to conduct and direct research into IT issues and products as required.
* Ability to present ideas in business-friendly and user-friendly language.
* Highly self-motivated and directed with a keen interest in IT and technology in general.
* Keen attention to detail.
* Proven analytical, evaluative, and problem-solving abilities.
* Exceptional customer service orientation.
While working as a Senior Service Desk Analyst / Desktop Support Engineer / Systems Administrator / IT Support Engineer for this company, you will be rewarded with a basic salary of around £27,000 and will be eligible for a range of company benefits.
