We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as our Senior Payment Specialist for CAF Bank Ltd. You will be an integral part of our award winning team, in Kings Hill.

The role will support the back office banking environment with detailed knowledge of banking payment schemes including Faster Payments, SWIFT, BACS, CHAPS, MasterCard, and FX Operations. Providing SME payments support, ensuring that appropriate payment policies and procedures are updated when required reflecting regulatory, industry changes, and process improvements. To support the Bank payment processing team, and wider Operational management team. To bring Swift knowledge to the Bank and to implement and support the teams when using Swift.

The ideal candidate will have extensive banking payment experience in a retail financial services environment. You will demonstrate up to date knowledge of payment services regulations and industry requirements, and experience of training and implementing changes into an operational environment.

As our Senior Payment Specialist your key responsibilities will include:
• Supporting the Operations Teams with payment expertise, and responsible for compliance with the Payment Schemes, including Faster Payments, BACS, Cheques, CHAPS and FX Operations.
• To keep up to date on the regulations and guidelines for all payment services and industry requirements, including Swift, CHAPS and International Payments.
• To support, coach and mentor the TAPS Team in relation to payment services, including Swift.
• To support the CAF Bank payments team with daily payment processing checks and authorisations.

Skills required of our Senior Payment Specialist:
• Extensive payment experience in a financial services environment.
• Awareness of industry and regulatory requirements concerning payment processing.
• Up to date awareness of payment regulatory changes on the horizon.
• Excellent communication skills.
