Our client, a highly successful and acquisitive business based in West Kent, is looking to recruit a Senior Group Accountant. Leading and developing a small team, your key duties will include:

- Responsibility for the Group Finance and Treasury teams
- Coordination of the financial audit and interim audits for the group as required, review of statutory accounts
- Preparation of consolidation group reporting to all stakeholders including senior management
- Accountability for accounting and budgeting for central group functions
- Review of financial data for new group acquisitions and integration of relevant data into their accounting system
- Support with the management of the group chart of accounts, accounting system configuration and month/year end close process
- Responsibility for fixed asset accounting & policy, capex monitoring and reporting
- Overview and preparation of holding company accounting, group elimination entries and full consolidation
- Review of company secretarial services provided for the group
- Ongoing responsibility for group VAT process, and quarterly reviews
- Key contact for Corporation Tax for all group companies
- Support the preparation of group cash strategy, working with other finance teams to maximise working capital, develop best practice cashflow reporting to support business development planning

The ideal candidate will be ACA/ACCA or CIMA Qualified with both financial and management accounting experience as well as strong Excel and interpersonal skills.
