Senior Financial Accountant | Mid Kent / Hybrid | 55-65k + bonus + package

Cobb & Jones Recruitment are working in partnership with a hugely successful global business with a Kent based UK head office, in the recruitment of an experienced and qualified Senior Financial Accountant.
Reporting to the Senior Manager for Financial Reporting, with a dotted line to the Senior FD in the US, this newly created role will deal with accounting for an exciting new online offering from the business to its customer base.

Job Responsibilities:

• Preparing month end accounts for all costs associated with the project
• Provide analysis of spend and revenue to the Global Ecommerce leadership teams
• Business partnering with the leadership team
• Ownership of the local audit process in line with both US GAAP & FRS102
• Monitor FX position, including preparation of detailed cashflow, to help manage the hedging process to mitigate negative FX impacts
• Work with tax teams on intercompany charging mechanisms and transfer pricing
• Establishing intercompany reconciliation processes and maintenance
• Liaising with local AP, Treasury and Payroll teams

Candidate Profile:
• Qualified ACA/ACCA with minimum 2+ years post qualification experience in industry
• Demonstrate good technical knowledge, with knowledge of US GAAP and FRS 102 extremely advantageous
• Strong business partnering skills and the ability to deal with influential stakeholders globally and hold your own in those situations and
influence the senior leadership team
• Have a strong attention to detail, as well as being able to summarise key financial performance for both finance and non finance staff
