Chalkwell Coach Hire and Tours is looking for an experienced Traffic Supervisor to join our growing family business in Sittingbourne.

Chalkwell operate a large number of private hire coaches to UK and Europe, local school and bus services.

Responsibilities:
To ensure the smooth and effective running of all Traffic office activities
Provide hands on day to day management of the Traffic department reporting directly to the Operations Manager.
Show leadership and commercial awareness in a fast moving environment.
Be self-motivated and provide motivation to staff in the pursuit of agreed objectives.
Ensure the planning of vehicles is cost effective and all vehicles and drivers are scheduled correctly in line with customer requirements.
Ensure drivers are compliant with Road Transport (Working Time) Regulations, EU and Domestic Drivers' hours Regulations, and all vehicles are operated within DVSA regulations.
Provide a can-do attitude to customers ensuring that a high level of customer service is delivered at all times including telephone responses times.
Liaise closely with all departments and in particular the vehicle workshop and private hire team ensuring sufficient information is provided between departments and shifts.

PSV Licence with DCPC is required for this post.
Effectively manage all driving and support staff, ensuring adequate cover at all times.
