Master Technician

£47500, Horsham, Mon to Thurs 8am to 5pm, Fri 8 am to 3 pm, 20 da + Bank Holidays, company vehicle, Pension, Parking



The Role

Due to business expansion, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Master Technician to join a well-established bus and coach conversion and sales specialist. Working on Buses and Coaches, the Master Technician will lead the technical support and diagnostics for the range of products on offer/ The role will involve fault diagnostics and warranty repair procedures on the full company range.

* Visit client sites in London and the Southeast
* Diagnosis of electrical and mechanical issues on coaches and buses
* Undertaking diagnostics (using OEM manufacturer diagnostic equipment) and repairs on vehicle electric systems including upcoming electric vehicles
* Supporting PDI procedure and stock vehicle requirements
* Undertaking factory training and utilising and sharing the knowledge within the UK Support network
* Be part of the on=-call team responding to out of hour warranty telephone support calls 1 in every 3 weeks



Requirements

We would expect the successful Master Technician to be experienced in the diagnoses and repair of buses, coaches or LCV/HGV vehicles. Ideally you would have worked in a dealership environment and have a solid understanding of inspection and new vehicles. You will be experienced in operating OEM Manufacturer diagnostic equipment and have experience with HV/EV systems. You will have fantastic communication skills and be comfortable sharing your knowledge and experience. You will need to travel internationally for initial training (expenses covered).

Package

£47,500 per annum increasing to £50,000 once training is completed and up to speed with the role (expected 3-6 months)

£120 per on-call week

20-day holiday + bank holidays
