BINDING AUTHORITY TECHNICIAN to £50,000
LLoyds Broker in the city of London is seeking to recruit an experienced Technician.
Personal Responsibilities To provide a quality Binding Authority technical service to Brokers & Clients covering all aspects of their insurance business;
To advise, manage and arrange for accurate client and/or Underwriter documentation to be produced and delivered within the appropriate timeframes; all in accordance with FCA requirements.
To ensure that a professional and efficient manner and a high standard of service is maintained at all times.
Role Function
* Responsibility for the efficient processing of allocated Binding Authority Technical work consistent with service levels.
* To process and manage the Binding Authority Accounts by a process of de-broking accounts and processing Monthly Premium Bordereau as received from Brokers on the "In house" binders and Overseas Coverholders on the Third Party Binders.
* To ensure that monthly Premiums and Bordereau are submitted and signed to Xchanging within the settlement terms of the individual binders.
* To ensure that all communications, including Technical documentation is accurate and recorded in accordance with internal and FCA requirements.
* Ensure that files, placements and insurance documentation are recorded correctly and accurately onto internal systems including the allocation of monies as and when received.
* Ensure that client's needs are met by exercising due diligence in the handling of all Binding Authority Technical aspects.
* To comply with the requirements of the company's policies and procedures.
* To carry out any duties assigned in a responsible, positive and helpful manner, thereby demonstrating a courteous attitude to all work colleagues and customers.
* To carry out any other reasonable duties as and when requested by your manage
IT Skills: All MS Windows applications including IBS and Xchanging IMR to a good standard.
Five years London Market experience
