Junior .Net engineer/developer


ABOUT THE ROLE
Due to the company's continued growth, they are looking for a Junior .NET Engineer to work as part of a dedicated Development Team, which delivers first-class bespoke software development and integration projects, providing excellent managed services and consistent engagements for specialised technologies across the digital ecosystem. They invest in training for Junior Engineers. RESPONSIBILITIES
* Write clean, scalable code using .NET programming languages.
* Remain up to date with the terminology, concepts and best practices for coding apps.
* Use and adapt existing web applications for apps
* Create and test software prototypes.
* Develop client displays and user interfaces.
* Troubleshoot issues, gather information, and keep users updated on progress.
* Assist in the preparation and documentation of software requirements and specifications.
* Develop new features for the platforms including legacy and greenfield development.
* Work to an Agile methodology to deliver continuous improvement.

REQUIRED SKILLS
* Good communication and teamwork skills.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills;
* Core proficiency of 1+ years in C# & .NET Framework.
* Knowledge of SQL Server
* Exposure to RESTful web services
* Technical knowledge of web development, including HTML / JavaScript / CSS / ASP.NET.
* Hands-on development and troubleshooting software experience.
* Keen to learn new systems and technologies (including certification).
* Willingness to take initiative and ability to adapt.
