About the role

* Making sure to keep clients up to date on any ongoing developments
* Creating clear technical and financial documents to justify activities to UK tax authorities
* Liaising with HMRC on the clients behalf
* Managing own portfolio of clients whist also supporting caseworkers by actioning financial/internal queries
* Understanding the requirements of tax relief and applying them with respect to the clients' development activities to ensure the relevant tax legislation and guidelines are met

About you

* To have the ability to communicate with the clients
* Experience with using and dealing with HMRC or other tax authorities
* Have a good knowledge with IT and relevant tax software
* To be part-qualified/qualified Tax Consultant or Accountant with at least 3 years experience of processing CT600'S
* To use your own initiative to meet deadlines
