Overview
Reports to Managing Director with one report. Works closely with Sales, Production, Quality and Supply Chain.

Responsibilities
• General advise to Sales, Supply Chain & Production on ingredients, suppliers, technical & legal feasibility of ingredients and recipes/formulations
• Creation of customer specifications incorporating formulation, packaging, claims, etc.
• Creation of manufacturing documentation
• Supervision of first production and necessary process validation.
• Supervision of customer & development sample production process (one report)
• Technical feasibility review of proposed customer quotes.
• Supporting Sales with technical liaison with customers as necessary.
• Compilation of regulatory documentation to support export markets & customer requirements.
• Liaison with export & customer regulatory contacts.

Requirements
• Excellent & confident communicator at all levels (production operator to board)
• Works with pace & precision
• Knowledge of global food regulation ideally within food/dietary supplements
• Experience of product/formulation development within food/supplement industry
• Knowledge of typical raw materials and components
• Displays a ‘can do’, controlled, calm attitude
• Minimum five years relevant experience
