The Rough Sleeping Initiative partnership including Dover and Folkestone &Hythe and Porchlight are delivering support services to rough sleepers in the districts to secure and maintain accommodation and develop independent living skills. The Tenancy Sustainment Worker will work closely with the Rough Sleeping Initiative Team to ensure coordinated care and support for people eligible for tenancy sustainment support.
What you need:
A patient, compassionate understanding of individuals who have spent many years on the street and who may find it difficult to engage with mainstream services, and with individuals at times of crisis times in their lives who may struggle to access services for the first time.
Excellent communication, administrative and negotiation skills. Enjoy working both as part of a busy team and independently within the community. A passion for working in a client focused manner and be committed to achieving positive outcomes for the people you support. An ability to set clear goals and boundaries, to empower clients, identify with clients and help them reach their full potential. A high level of resilience and the ability to work under sustained pressure.
Contract: Fixed Term until 30th June 2023.
Working Hours: 9am to 5pm working Monday to Friday with flexibility required.
