We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as our Head of Regulatory Reporting & ALM for CAF Bank, part of the Charities Aid Foundation (‘CAF’). You will be an integral part of our CAF Bank Finance team, who deliver all the Financial management for CAF’s banking subsidiary providing core banking services (for example, transactional banking, lending, cards) to the charity sector.

As our Head of Regulatory Reporting & ALM your key responsibilities will include:
• Ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of the Bank’s regulatory reporting returns and requirements to the FCA, PRA, EBA and Bank of England; managing changing reporting requirements
• Oversee and review the preparation and publication of monthly reports, projections, reconciliation files, KPI reporting, executive and Board reports for CAF Bank.
• Run income projections in the budgeting and reforecasting process, with supporting analysis as required.
• Prepare papers, attend and present to the monthly Asset & Liability Committee (‘ALCo’).
• Support the CFO with transaction analysis and projections (maturity profile, IRRBB, counterparty credit analysis); act as a monitoring check on the CFO’s Treasury activity, with escalation to the Bank’s CRO as necessary.
• Leading the team’s production and development of financial stress testing to support internal risk management as well as annual ICAAP and Recovery Plan production.
• Monitoring and maintaining internal trigger mechanisms, including reference to the Bank’s capital and liquidity policies, and external regulatory requirements, liaising with the senior management team as appropriate.
• Attending annual and ad-hoc meetings with PRA supervisory team and capital/liquidity specialists, respond to PRA queries.
• Providing general Finance support and assistance to the CAF Bank senior management team and division as required, including other roles within the Finance Department, including agreeing absence and sickness cover support when required.

Skills required of our Head of Regulatory Reporting & ALM:
• Experience of preparing BoE, FCA, PRA and EBA returns, together with understanding of their rulebooks.
• In depth knowledge of financial/regulatory reporting and financial control.
• Experience of preparing management and statutory accounts, monthly reporting, management information and budget processes.
• Financial control/balance sheet control and reconciliations.
• Thorough understanding of Prudential Regulation and requirements including ICAAP, ILAAP, Recovery Planning, Pillar 3 and stress testing.
• Knowledge of COREP and PRA Regulatory Reporting, CRR and Basel.
• Highly competent in Microsoft Excel.
• The ability to communicate technically complex concepts and analysis in a clear manner.
• Ability to work to deadlines and with a flexible approach to changing priorities.
• Qualified Accountant.
