Rockdale House in Sevenoaks provides excellent care for the residents in our 50 bed residential care home, set in beautiful surroundings and located in the centre of Sevenoaks it is highly regarded by the community. Rockdale is a charity committed to its Mission and Objectives to establish Rockdale House as a model of excellence in residential care.

The Head of Care will coordinate and lead on the care and management of care staff and residents in the home. Directly delivering services ensuring compliance with statutory regulations, current legislation and meeting quality standards. Acting as the Association’s ambassador, to lead, promote and maintain high standards of care to residents and to safeguard the health and wellbeing of the residents in the home.

Hours: 40 hours per week, over 5 days, Monday to Sunday.

For this role, successful candidates will have:

A qualification in management and/or leadership with significant experience in supporting older people
A Level 4 in Health and Social care
Experience in a similar role within a care home setting
Experience of leading, motivating and managing a care team
A good understanding of legislative framework, CQC requirements and key care principles
