CompEX Electrician required in Medway, Kent

Hays M&E are currently working in partnership with a company who are looking for a CompEX Electrician to join them on a self employed, full time, permanent basis.

Due to this company's ever-increasing workload following the successful delivery of projects, design, installation, inspection & testing of installations, they are seeking qualified electricians to join their team and help support the continued progression and growth of the company.

Motivation, punctuality, reliability, and a good worth ethic is an absolute must for this role. Some experience within the utility or oil & gas would be ideal. The individual must be customer facing, take pride in their work, have good problem solving skills and be willing to become a key contributor to providing the level of service our clients have come to expect.


Requirements for the CompEX Electrician role -


* Appropriate City & Guilds NVQ level 3 trade qualification
* JIB Electrician
* 18th Edition qualified
* CompEX Ex 01-04
* Good knowledge of Health & Safety legislation
* Working within a team and taking lead responsibility and delegating work to others
* Working efficiently on projects to ensure project is delivered on time
* Carrying out Hazardous Area inspections, repairs & installation on existing and new installations in accordance BS EN 60079 standards.
* Updating site drawings with any changes or amendments that have been made during the installation
* recording inspections of plant and equipment used on site before use
* Highlight and rectify any health and safety issues on site
* Communication with management and other contractors on site
* Have experience installing metal cable management systems
* Have worked in control panels and familiar with control and telemetry systems



About you -


* NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation
* 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
* Full UK Driving Licence
* Utility or oil and gas experience (Desirable but not essential)
