My client is looking for a Legal Cashier to join its busy finance department.
Responsibilities include:
Processing payments including CHAPS & BACs
Administering office and client account cheques & receipts
Processing of Client to Office transfers
Reviewing completion statements
Posting invoices, file disbursements and bills
Handling Legal Aid billing / enquiries
Bank, petty cash, credit cards and expenses reconciliations
Monitoring residual client balances
Production of time and billing reports
Monthly compliance reporting to COFA/COLP and partners
The retrieval and storage of Wills and updating the database
Skills and Experience:
Experience of working in a similar role
Conversant with the Solicitors’ Accounts Rules and VAT Regulations
Fully computer literate with advanced Excel skills,
Highly organised
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work to strict deadlines
