My client is an established successful Managed IT Service Provider based in Tonbridge, Kent.

The primary responsibility of the New Business Sales Executive is to identify, qualify and win new client accounts in line with or exceeding targets month on month. The New Business Sales Executive will ensure that all new prospects are properly qualified so that they meet the company’s objectives relating to target clients.

The job holder will be responsible for qualifying and developing marketing generated leads, and for self-generation and development of leads through personal networking activity etc.

The job holder must represent the ethos of the company and display passion for their clients in everything they do, internally and externally.
The role also includes working closely with designated marketing resources to develop and deliver campaigns to support acquisition of new target accounts.

Accurate and effective sales reporting relating to new business prospects is vital, keeping the Sales Manager closely informed about new business activity and success.

Responsibilities:

Create, agree and implement an activity plan with appropriate KPI’s to drive personal sales activity each month to achieve new business sales targets.

Undertake all planned activity to ensure that revenue and GP targets are achieved or exceeded each month.
Conduct telephone and field sales activity with new client prospects to develop and close pipeline opportunities effectively, ensuring that revenue and margin opportunities are optimised.

Ongoing personal development of skills and competencies to ensure that appropriate and effective professional standards and performance are maintained.
Ensure that levels of customer satisfaction are achieved in line with customer expectations and SLA commitments throughout the onboarding process.

Provide a monthly sales report to an agreed format for new business opportunities.
Maintain an accurate and current pipeline of opportunities within the CRM system.
Understand market product trends and requirements and communicate these to the management team.

• Enthusiastic and ambitious
• Self-motivated
• Well organised and adaptable
• Good standard of education
• Clear and concise communicator, verbally and in writing
• High achiever
• Ability to work under pressure and under own initiative when required
