This is an exciting opportunity to join the small and busy team at Holding On Letting in an important fundraising role. HOLG provides specialist bereavement support for grieving children and young people, and their families across Kent, Medway and parts of SouthEast London.
We are looking for an enthusiastic team player with a background in charity fundraising who can help us develop our income generation activities. Experience of events, volunteer management and donor recruitment will be key.
The postholder's role will be:
To develop and implement the fundraising strategy for Holding On Letting Go. With particular focus on developing income sources from individuals and companies and in conjunction with key stakeholders (including Trustees)
To initiate, develop and nurture relationships with donors and corporate and community fundraisers through structured and personal networks with a view to securing long-term support.
To raise the profile of Holding On Letting Go and awareness of its work
To communicate Holding On Letting Go’s work, vision, brand and messages to a range of external audiences.
The hours and location will be flexible for the right candidate
