Office
· Day to day management of the office ensuring there is enough cover for adequate staffing levels during operating hours
· Establish and maintain office procedures and standards
· Assign tasks to staff and monitor progress
· Oversee the Activity Team (an ability to be able to run activity sessions is desirable)
· Dealing with correspondence, complaints and queries
· Review all customer reviews and customer related feedback and improving as and where necessary
· Ensure that the office & site is sufficiently stocked with resources
· Act as a PA to the County Commissioner and County Chairman as and when required
· Ensure the business is marketed and develop new marketing campaigns to increase revenue
· Develop and maintain social media presence of the business
· Create and monitor new projects for the development of the business
· Support all functions of the business to work together
· Ensure the company is GDPR compliant
· Attend meetings as and when required
Health & Safety
· Develop and maintain H&S management system
· Manage and co-ordinate H&S audit
· Ensure compliance with H&S legislation
· Supervise facilities manager and technician and ensure that H&S checks are completed as required
· Conduct and oversee all risk assessments for the site (facility and activity)
· Arrange all H&S training for staff (and volunteers) as required
· Monitor, record and investigate accidents or incidents to discover causes and recommend solutions to prevent these happening again
· Manage and co-ordinate site maintenance including SAS and other maintenance projects (being able to take an active role in resolving maintenance issues is desirable)
· Ensure that all safety checks are completed on a regular basis by the site warden
· Attend H&S meetings
HR
· Manage the recruitment and selection process such as being the first point of contact for new applicants, writing job descriptions, preparing interview questions and application forms
· Ensure new starters are properly inducted
· Manage the online HR system including new starters, leavers and holiday allowance
· Liaise with the external HR company as and when required
· Implement new company policies
· Ensure compliance with HR legislation
· Line management of all company staff and reporting to the County Commissioner & Chairman
Other
· Undertake any other duties as may be reasonably requested by Lower Grange Farm Management that ensure the ongoing operational success of the centre and delivery of excellent customer experiences
