We are resourcing for a professional and highly experienced HR Manager who will be part of the SMT, with a direct report to the MD. This is a key role in the business and will have responsibility for managing all HR related matters for staff across the sites. You should be able to work autonomously and lead a small team, whilst championing the vision and values of the company and to promote the business as an Employer of Choice.
The role
* Managing all aspects of HR operational matters
* Managing the recruitment process through to onboarding
* Ensures compliance of the stakeholder pension scheme - liaising with Finance Manager
* Coordinating and advising on the appraisal scheme
* Advising Managing Director and senior leadership team on all aspects of employment law
* Leading on D&G and ensuring full legal compliance is achieved
* Analysis and reporting; headcount, probations, attendance and presenting to SLT / Directors with results and statistics
* Writing and maintaining documents such as the Employee Handbook, P&P's
* Advising on all aspects of comp & bens strategy and approach
* Managing a small HR team
* Booking and monitoring all aspects of staff training
* Chair monthly HR management meeting
* Maintain Investors In People accreditation.
You will be CIPD level 5 qualified, with a minimum of 5 years' HR management experience, from within a manufacturing or industrial environment, with demonstrable understanding of employment law and a strong commercial focus with OD experience. Experience of managing others and developing a team and processes is essential. A full UK driving licence is essential, as there is a requirement to travel to other sites in the UK on a regular basis.
