Maths Teacher

I am currently supporting a secondary school based in Medway to recruit a Maths teacher in September 2022 (a July start date may also be considered). NQTs will be considered alongside more experienced teachers with the recruitment emphasis being on quality of teaching.

In this job you will get the opportunity to teach a mixed timetable of KS3 and KS4 Maths. You will be given time to plan and prepare your lesson material. You will work with academic students with a passion for their learning. You will be expected to challenge and develop their understanding of their subject and ensure that they have the best opportunity at achieving a great GCSE grade.

To be successful in this role you will need:

* The ability to teach Maths at GCSE
* The ability to lead learners with excellent classroom presence
* The ability to stretch and challenge academic students
* The experience of using current educational technology
* The up-to-date knowledge of current teaching practices and safeguarding legislation
