Female Rehabilitation Support Worker and Female Bank Support Workers

A fantastic opportunity to work as a Female Rehabilitation Support Worker with a positive and determined young woman based in Sevenoaks.  Our Client suffered a stroke several years ago which has resulted in left sided weakness and partial paralysis, she has epilepsy and requires support in the event of a seizure. 

Our client strives in her rehabilitation journey to continue with positive changes in her life; she leads a full, active, and comfortable life living within her own home with her pets.  She has a part time job and attends various social and recreational activities. She likes to be out and about within the community and her Rehabilitation Support Workers help her develop her confidence and independence within the wider community

As a Rehabilitation Support Worker with our Client, you will play a key role in facilitating the therapeutic regime, working alongside the team of therapists and professionals whilst supporting the Client in all aspects of her daily life.  The focus of the Rehabilitation Support Worker role is to help our Client in the retraining and relearning of skills which have been impacted by her brain injury.

Rates of Pay

£14.00 per hour - £15.00 per hour depending on shift times and days.

Contracted hours available:

We have a number of hours available and are aiming to recruit Rehabilitation Support Workers to cover a selection of shifts each week.  Shift times are 9:30am to 3pm, and 5pm to 9pm. In addition, the successful candidates will work an additional one hour per week for the maintenance of client related notes, recordkeeping and attendance of team meetings as required.

Please indicate the number of hours you are interested in working each week.

We are also looking for Bank Support Workers to join this friendly and proactive team supporting the Client.

The Role

The successful candidates will support our Client in daily activities including administering medication, driving her to the shops and to her job and accompanying to social or leisure activities.  Our Client requires support at meal times and a low level of personal care is also necessary.

The Rehabilitation Support Workers will participate in our Client’s rehabilitation programme and as such the team benefit from specialist training from her therapy team.  This includes supporting the implementation of the practices set out by the clinical psychologist.  Full training will be provided by the professional team working with the client.

Person Specification


Knowledge of neurological conditions would be an advantage.Experience of working as a Support Worker is essential.Willingness to drive the Client’s vehicle. A full UK driving licence (manual vehicles) is required, as you will need to drive the client’s vehicle.Experience of working with a multi-disciplinary team is an advantage.
