ESM Ltd require a painter and decorator to assist us in our busy finishing department within our workshop on the Eurolink in Sittingbourne, Kent.
We design and build exhibition stands, which are most frequently finished in emulsion paint, however the role may sometimes involve wallpapering, laying graphics, or helping to prepare displays for spraying.
The majority of our work is complete in the workshop, however the role may involve travel and working onsite throughout the UK and sometimes abroad on larger projects when necessary.
Core workshop hours are 8am-4.30pm Monday-Friday, however overtime is frequently required and candidates would be expected to work the hours as required by the needs of the business.
Longer term we do need a candidate who would be interested in training within our spray shop, or who has some experience in spraying high quality PU finishes
Remuneration will be based on experience - with candidates able to spray subject to a higher pay banding.
We have a great team of friendly and skilled tradespeople and work on some wonderful projects. This a fantastic opportunity to play a small part in our success by ensuring the highest possible quality of finish can be maintained for the work we provide to our clients.
An ideal candidate would be experienced in painting and decorating, physically fit, pro-active, have high standards of work and cleanliness, and be a great team player.
