Reed Sales have partnered with a leading digital marketing agency who are looking for a business development manager who is driven, passionate, and a knowledgeable individual, to work independently and with the leadership team to bring on high value clients across the nation.
The purpose of the business development manager will be to form close relationships and discover the challenges your potential clients face, helping them to map out a solution to achieve success, with a determination to grow our clients’ brands as well as our own.

The day to day role for the business development manager:

• Drive and grow the agency by selling digital marketing solutions to clients across the UK
• Attend networking events
• Responding to inhouse leads which come from referrals, inhouse system and tenders to close the business as well as self-generation of leads from marketing events and knowledge (please note only warn/qualified leads to be chased, not cold business)
• Provide proposals to clients with solution-based sales
• Work closely with the CEO and leadership team to bring in new clients and grow the business
• Once sale is closed pass to account manager to support client moving forward, providing any support and guidance when required
• Attend meetings (in person and virtual) to provide solutions and guidance to new prospective customers


Skills & experience required for the business development manager:
• Previous sales experience selling digital marketing
• Knowledge of SEO, Paid search, social and content is essential
• Previous experience planning and pitching
• Evidence of working within a team environment
• High attention to detail
• Previous experience working towards targets
