We have a vacancy for a Handyman/driver/operator with a background in the engineering.
We are a family owned business since 1987 so are in our 35th year. We pride ourselves on our low turnover of staff, which we achieve by maintaining a fair work balance.
The Role:
Mostly the job will be driving to our sites in a 3.5T Cherry Picker to perform basic engineering maintenance schedules or teaming up with a senior engineer to attend breakdowns to plant equipment at height. An IPAF licence for 1b, 3a and 3b is an advantage, but training can be arranged if not.
Our sites are mostly within the M25 areas, each working day will mean starting from home in the works vehicle and arriving on site at 7.30 and finishing at 16.00, some overtime exists to get the job completed, usually completing 3 or 4 jobs a day depending on size of works.
Depending on experience to our type of work further jobs can be given that would reflect on the hourly rate.
Skills needed:
Team player with excellent communication skills - both written and spoken
Full UK driving license essential.
Ideally some engineering or relevant industry experience.
Salary up to £26k
