An IT Consulting and Design Lead focused on Tech Governance

Your new company

Roche Diabetes Care global IT department is developing a UK based team in Burgess Hill, West Sussex, to support its broader Tech headquarters in Basel, Switzerland, an IT Hub in Barcelona, Spain and Satellite offices in Indianapolis, Mannheim, Singapore, Brazil, Poland and China.

As a heavily outsourced organisation, the internal IT department needs to be able to manage and work with internal and external partners effectively to provide quality services for operations, development and technical solution and design functions.

Your new role

- Perform solution/application design and business processes optimisation in order to meet business, customer and technological requirements at a global level in three main areas of Adoption Services:

1. Project and Portfolio Management.

2. IT Quality

3. Training and Compliance


- Develops and manages the respective business critical know-how within the business areas supported
- Works with the solution architect to translate complex business requirements into solutions and procedures meeting current business, customer and technical requirements, while observing defined financial requirements.


What you'll need to succeed

You will be experienced with managing IT Governance processes through collaborating with a virtual team in multiple locations. The Roche Diabetes Care Tech team has around 65 staff globally in locations listed above, and the business makes significant investment in Technology which needs to be utilised to optimum affect. For example, Roche is moving to Google instead of Microsoft so this person will promote how to use Google Slide instead of MS PowerPoint. A sound knowledge of Salesforce would be an advantage to help support the Tech team maximise its full capabilities.



What you'll get in return

The role is available for hybrid working, with around 20% of the time being office based within the prestigious Roche Diagnostics offices in Burgess Hill, which is on the Brighton to London main railway line.

In addition to a competitive basic salary, there is an £8,400 Car Allowance for this position, together with a 15% or higher bonus for good performance.
