Burtons Medical Equipment Ltd. (part of the Burtons Group of Companies) has a vacancy for a Warehouse Operative to join an existing dynamic team.
Job Summary:
Working within a busy team, taking delivery of goods into the warehouse for sorting, stacking and storage. Picking and packing items for dispatch.
Supporting and reporting direct to the Warehouse Team Leader.
Responsibilities & Duties:
· Loading and unloading delivery vehicles by hand or forklift truck.
· Checking for damaged or missing items.
· Taking goods to the appropriate storage space.
· Keeping a careful record of the stock on the warehouse management system.
· Operating a forklift truck to move and rearrange stock
· Ensure products are stored safely and labelled correctly.
· Picking and packing orders.
· Organising transfers and loading goods on to delivery vehicles.
· Cleaning and maintaining the warehouse.
· Following work place health and safety rules.
Qualifications & Skills:
· English, Maths and IT
· Communication skills
· Team working skills
· Forklift truck experience/licence
Pay & Benefits:
· Salary range c £21,000 per annum
· Discretionary bonus scheme
· Countryside-based warehouse within walking distance of mainline train station
· Excellent opportunities to train and progress
· 33 holiday days per year (inc. Bank Holidays)
· Contributory pension scheme
· On site car parking
· Staff events and awards Scheme
