FP&A Manager | Kent / Hyrid / Home Working | 70-75k + bonus + benefits

A large, international financial services business is looking to appoint an experienced and talented FP&A Manager, working for their UK Head Office in Kent. Home working / hybrid working available.

As FP&A Manager you will lead a team and be responsible for producing the monthly management reporting, the coordination of the budgeting and forecasting processes, and the delivery of financial analysis to meet management needs.

You will partner business unit teams to ensure the accuracy of financial information and support the Management team, and the CFO through the delivery of relevant, quality and timely management information. You will manage any ad hoc projects within the team, managing resources to achieve these and managing stakeholder expectations.

You will strive for continual process improvement, achieving this through the design and production of robust, efficient models and processes. You will embrace technology and change, moving the focus to the Analysis within FP&A.

This is a key role to understand and explain the performance of the business, relative to budget and forecast and to help drive the Group towards the optimal result.

Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities

• Ownership of the Group budgeting process, including the technology solution used to support and deliver this
• Coordinating and delivering group forecasts, annual budget and annual strategic financial planning
• Continual improvement and advancement of management information
• Driving the quality of financial insight provided to senior stakeholders to enable strategic decision making
• Delivering high quality Board presentation packs
• Working closely with wider finance teams to achieve consistency and improve budget processes

Candidate Profile

• Qualified Accountant, either ACA, CIMA or ACCA
• Previous experience of running an FP&A team, ideally in an international business
• Design and implementation of new processes and models
• Strong Excel modelling skills
• Strong team leadership
• Ability to build relationship inside and outside finance and influence at a senior level
• Ability to prioritise and adapt
• Adopting a continuous improvement approach
