Our client works with its partners to address the biggest IT challenges for UK businesses.
A multi-accredited organisation in the managed services sector, with its voice platform, cloud infrastructure and solutions portfolio at its core, it has built a framework from which to innovate, diversify, and grow. This thriving telecoms/IT company is looking for a Senior IT Engineer. This role involves a mixture of IT support and telecoms.

Senior IT Engineer duties will include but are not limited to:
- Supervising daily operations of network and server infrastructure
- Aligning IT infrastructure with current and future business requirements and goals
- Managing IT budgets, forecasting, handling cash flow and enforcing cost-effectiveness
- Evaluating risk, developing network recovery and backup processes
- Assessing and purchasing new and replacement hardware
- Assuring that IT activities are within the limits of applicable laws, codes and regulations
- Testing, troubleshooting, and adjusting information systems to operate effectively
- Implementing security of the network, data and its storage and communication systems

Required skills
Strong IT support experience, knowledge of Sharepoint, Strong IT support experience, knowledge of SharePoint, network skills, server experience, understanding of subnets and network addresses, knowledge of VoIP, telecoms, and helpdesk experiences, knowledge of VoIP, telecoms, and helpdesk experience including staff management is required.

Office-based but there may be an option for hybrid working after the probationary period.
