Physics - Science Teacher
Secondary Grammar School
Tonbridge, Kent
Pearson Whiffin Education are currently recruiting an experienced Physics specialist science teacher to fill a position with an Ofsted rated outstanding secondary school in Tonbridge. Ideal candidates will hold UK Qualified teaching status with the ability to teach the subject to GCSE.
The school are ideally looking for a physics specialist that can teach up to GCSE. International Baccalaureate (IB) curriculum experience would be desirable but not essential. This is a temporary position to start in April 2022.
Responsibilities of the Secondary Teacher
* Teach Physics and Science to an outstanding level on a consistent basis
* Use students interests as a way of engaging them in the subject matter
* Ensure all forms of assessment are being utilised so students know how they can improve.
* Challenge students academically so that they always achieve the best outcomes
Requirements of the Secondary Teacher
* UK Qualified teaching status in Science. Ability to teach GCSE Physics.
* Experience teaching secondary Science and extensive subject knowledge
* Excellent relationship building skills
