Operations Manager, M&E, Civils & Maintenance

Salary between £55,000 - £65,000 + package + fully expensed vehicle

PW Construction Recruitment is working with a successful construction contractor who are looking to recruit an Operations Manager. The business undertakes a wide variety of works including M&E, Civils & Construction, Maintenance and Communications.

Due to business growth, they are looking for an experienced Operations Manager to oversee day to day operations and manage the team.

Duties:

* Ensure a safe working environment for all staff within Head Office
* Work with Directors & Supervisors to establish and implement mobilisation plan for all new projects
* Assist the Supervisors with the development of project programmes
* Ensure the correct resources are available to allow teams to deliver their projects on time, to specification and budget
* Monitor labour, subcontractors, plant and materials
* Manage and motivate Contracts Managers, Supervisors, Foreman, site staff and subcontractors
* Ensure customer promises are delivered and relationships are developed
* Promote the values of the company at all opportunities

Qualifications / Experience required to undertake the role

* C&G Advanced/Craft certificate and NVQ L2/3, HNC in Construction, or equivalent
* SMSTS Award
* CSCS card - Supervisor / Manager / Professionally qualified person
* You will have 5 years experience, working for an infrastructure or maintenance contractor
* You will have planned or reactive maintenance experience
* You will be an existing Operations Manager or an experienced Contracts Manager looking for a step into Operations
