Venrec are pleased to be recruiting on behalf of our client for a Forklift Driver to join their Transport and Factory Operation based in Sittingbourne, Kent
The role entails:
• Loading and unloading vehicles
• Manual stock movement/rotation
• Picking freight
• Quality checking
• General handling of steel products
A successful candidate will have the following skills and experience:
• Previous experience working in a manufacturing or galvanizing environment
• Proven experience using MHE such as Forklift Counterbalance / Telehandler / Combi or Reach
• This role will entail some heavy lifting
• Good attention to detail
• A willingness to undertake various duties when required
The salary for this position:
• £11 per hour + Holiday Pay + Overtime paid at time and a half after 37.5 hours and weekends
• Monday to Friday alternating between 06:00 - 14:00 and 14:00 - 22:00 hours (overtime is available and optional x1 Saturday per month)
