Venrec are pleased to be recruiting on behalf of our client based in Sittingbourne, Kent for a Night Metal Processing Operative to join their preparation department.
This role will be made permanent after the successful completion of a 12 week period
The role entails:
- Hand wiring products to jigs in preparation of the galvanizing process
- Quality checking
- Hand linishing of products in preparation for the powder coating process
- General handling of steel products
A successful candidate will have the following skills and experience:
- Previous experience working in a manufacturing or galvanizing environment
- Experience working in a manual environment as this role involves heavy lifting and it is a part of the daily activities
- Good attention to detail
- A willingness to undertake various duties when required
The salary:
- £11.63 per hour + Holiday Pay + overtime paid at time and a half after 37.5 hours and weekends
- Monday to Friday between10pm - 6am
