This role will ideally suit a candidate who has gained practical experience within a metal fabricating environment and who is seeking to step into an office based role to develop skills in this area alongside practical hands on capability. Perhaps you have completed a formal apprenticeship and are now seeking to step into a supporting role, or you are seeking to step away and transfer practical understanding into this supporting role...
Duties will include scoping out projects for costs, viability, advising on design, solving manufacturing problems and issues, estimating, pricing , NPD, identifying prospects opportunities to the client database, following up leads and assisting the team and customers to actively resolve problems and exceed expectations.
To be successful you will be computer literate, with skills and understanding in ERP systems, 2D and 3D CAD software, and excellent communication skills across all levels.
