WAKING NIGHT ATTENDANT SUPERVISOR
£28,354 - £32,570 (inclusive of 1/3 unsociable hours payment)
Full Time – 36.75 hours per week, 41 weeks per year
Permanent position
Bradstow is a creative and unique residential school for children between the ages of 5 & 19. It is situated in 13 acres of parkland just a few hundred metres from the sandy beaches of Broadstairs. We seek to meet the needs of children and young people with autism and severe learning difficulties with associated behaviours that may be challenging. We have achieved national recognition for our developments in Communication and Behaviour Management.
The role of Waking Night Attendant Supervisor is to oversee the allocation and supervision of the team of Waking Night Attendants for the five residential homes, responsible for the supervision and care of the young people at night. The post holder will ensure that night-time routines follow pre-agreed strategies and are implemented consistently by staff.
The core hours for this post will be agreed with the line manager. Main working hours will be between the hours of 21:30 and 07:30.
As part of the 41 weeks, the post holder will be required to commit to two weeks Short Term break care work during school holidays.
For all posts we look for candidates who are mature, warm, creative and open to learning with a patient and caring attitude to deal sensitively with vulnerable children.
