My client is a Kent based international business looking to recruit a Financial Accounting Manager. The successful applicant will be ACA or ACCA qualified and practice trained.
- Liaison with senior cross-functional stakeholders within the group on a day-to-day basis
- The on-going maintenance of a strong internal controls environment, ensuring statutory compliance is maintained
- Challenging existing processes, working with compliance to ensure governance around the close and continuous improvement efforts
- Acting as the key contact on technical accounting issues under IFRS, FRS 101 and UKGAAP
- Preparing and reviewing statutory financial statements and involvement in monthly reporting (internal and to Group)
- Preparation and review of all corporate reporting requirements (monthly and quarterly)
- Management of the daily cash balance and forecasting activities
Applicants must be:
- ACA or ACCA qualified
- A strong technical accounting expert with a good knowledge of UKGAAP
- Experienced at working in a large turnover, global, complex business
- Experienced at managing a team and monitoring and managing their outputs
- A strong cross-functional stakeholder manager
