Process Operators



Location: Broadstairs

Salary: £27,000

Hours: 7am - 3pm Monday to Friday



Benefits: 26.5 days holiday, pension, discretionary bonus



Job Purpose

Our clients state of the art manufacturing plant is responsible for the manufacture of high-quality inks for varying industries around the world. Picking and packing within the International Logistics Centre is key to our success by delivering high quality products in full and on time. Our company is an industry leader and multiple award-winning manufacturer of UV inkjet, screen and flexographic inks.

This is an excellent opportunity for Process Operators to join their Manufacturing team.

* Actively engage in safe working procedures to maintain a very high safety record
* Flexibility is essential as you can be asked to work in many areas of manufacturing - from blending and packing, to working in our warehouse.
* Develop a safe, smart and efficient approach to daily tasks
* Work within a strong team environment, creating and building on key relationships with various other departments within the organisation
* Maintaining a positive work ethic
* Continually adapt to an ever-changing industry
* Be a part of our Continuous Improvement Programme with high standards of a Lean Mentality.

Person Specification

* Safety focused
* Positive and forward thinking with a proactive attitude
* Able to work using own initiative, with a "can-do" approach
* Keen to learn and develop
* Able to demonstrate a high level of organisation within a chemical or similar industry such as factory or warehousing environment including attention to detail & cleanliness of your work area
* Minimum of GCSE Grade C or above for English, Maths and Science
* Awareness of customer service with a desire to meet customer expectations
* Good communication skills
* Ability to work well within a team environment
