A new instruction for a part time Commercial Accountant with an established client and global manufacturing organisation in the area.

Main elements of the position:
This is a job share role with the existing company Commercial Accountant.
Hybrid working arrangement: so 50% working from home, 50% office based,
At the moment, the Commercial Accountant position is being presented on a long term temporary basis, ie. initially at least 12 – 18 months but there is every possibility the duration could continue beyond this point.
Hours: the client is looking to offer 25 hours per week but can be flexible.
A favourable hourly rate is available on application.

A brief synopsis of the role includes, but is not limited to:
• Providing Finance business partner support to the commercial organisation
• Take the lead on monthly analysis of departmental costs, and providing an accurate forecasting process
• Business partnering with Marketing team, ensuring all monthly accounts and forecasting are complete and providing full analysis to Directors.
• Month end accounting close and help ensure management accounts are completed timely and accurately
• Producing financial reports and variance analysis for the UK business
• Monthly reforecasting process and annual planning
