Assistant Housekeeping Manager
Hours: 20hrs/week, plus weekly on-call duties
Salary: £23,400 (pro rata) /£12ph
Bore Place is looking for someone to join the Housekeeping team and help manage the day-to-day operation of Bore Place’s guest accommodation and visiting groups under the guidance of the Housekeeping Manager. The ideal candidate will be comfortable coordinating the team of housekeepers and the service of food for catered guests. Primary responsibilities will be coordinating and carrying out housekeeping, laundry and cleaning for the Bore Place site ensuring high standards of cleanliness across the venue, facilitating site changes between visitors and food service.
We are looking for someone who will undertake the work cheerfully and with enthusiasm, who takes pride in housekeeping and cleaning, who will work efficiently and cooperatively with others and enjoys looking after our guests.
The role is very diverse and busy and is a fantastic opportunity to join a friendly team.
Bore Place is non-profit organisation committed to helping create a world where people and nature work together to regenerate the planet and ourselves.
Due to our remote rural location, you will need to have your own transport and be able to drive.
